18 Room Ohio Mansion Featured On HGTV "If These Walls Could Talk" Lists For $349,000!

Want character? This HUGE historical mansion oozes character, charm, warmth, & uniqueness!! This isn't your cookie-cutter home. Built in 1895...this 4 bedrm, 4,800sf, estate boasts 18 rooms, a large corner lot, a newer 4 car garage, & has had only 4 owners in its storied history. With 3 stories finished & a full basement to boot, there's a ton to love. Each room is scaled much larger than even today's norm. Many dimensions are at least 20' wide along with 9' ceilings throughout the first floor. Once featured on HGTV's show "If These Walls Could Talk," the stories of the property and many of its qualities are riveting. For example, one previous owner had the historic wallpaper found in several rooms insured for $200k. Spaces such as the solarium, a giant wood paneled foyer, a coachman's room, formal sitting room adjacent to the master bdrm, 3rd story sun porch, and a rec room so large it once served as the ballroom give the interior tons of potential for a variety of uses for the next owners. This not only could continue as a private residence, but also would be an excellent bed & breakfast or AirBnB for the right investor. New owners may desire to modernize parts of the home & the sellers have priced it at a low price per sq foot to accommodate such. Other notable features include: 6 total fireplaces, 2 offices, 10" height baseboards, double-stacked crown moldings, multiple types of hardwood trims, wall paneling, pocket doors, & more. Come see it for yourself!!

I really like the layout of this house. All the wood is nice. But I have never seen a house so "junked up" with stuff. And that hideous wall paper! And that tacky carpeting! Whoever chose the color scheme was color blind.

These homes are absolutely the most beautiful. I can sit here and only dream of being in these homes.

if only dreams could come true.
